Privacy Policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

This policy explains what information ForceHires collects, how we use it, who can see it, and the choices you have. We only collect what we need to run a Salesforce job board, and we don't sell your personal information.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and password (stored securely by our sign-in provider; we never see your password).
  • Candidate profile: your name, email, location and anything else you choose to add, such as your headline, experience, certifications, skills, links, job preferences, minimum salary, work authorization, résumé and intro video.
  • Recruiter profile: your name, work email, company and hiring details, plus the jobs you post.
  • Applications: which jobs you apply to, any note you include, and the status the recruiter sets.
  • Practice activity: the questions you answer and whether you got them right.

How we use it

  • To run ForceHires: your account, your profile, job posts and applications.
  • To show your candidate profile to recruiters and to the recruiter of any job you apply to.
  • To show practice explanations and overall stats, like the percentage of people who got a question right.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
  • To send account emails, like password resets and confirmations.

Who can see your information

  • Candidate profiles, including résumés and intro videos, are visible only to signed-in recruiters, the ForceHires team, and you. Other candidates can't see them.
  • Your email is shown to recruiters browsing profiles only if you allow recruiters to email you. When you apply to a job, the recruiter who posted it sees your full profile, including your email, and your note.
  • Your practice activity appears on your profile only as you choose: hidden, the number of questions you've answered, or your full results. You can change this at any time on your profile page.
  • Job posts are public.
  • We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage) and Vercel (hosting). They process data only to provide those services to us.
  • We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users.

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Cookies and browser storage

We use a few strictly necessary cookies and browser storage, and no advertising cookies:

  • Sign-in cookies that keep you logged in.
  • A cookie that counts the free practice questions a visitor has answered before signing up.
  • Browser storage that remembers which practice questions you've answered on this device.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, résumé, intro video, recruiter profile, job posts and applications. Your practice answers are kept only as anonymous totals with your name and account removed. Recruiters may keep copies of applications you already sent them, under their own policies.

Your choices

  • See and update your information on your profile page at any time.
  • Delete your résumé or intro video on your profile page.
  • Delete your whole account from the bottom of your profile page.
  • For anything else, like a copy of your data, email support@forcehires.com.

Security

Your data is stored with access controls and encrypted connections. Résumés and videos are kept in private storage and shared only through short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

ForceHires is for adults looking for work or hiring. It isn't intended for anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know by email or with a notice on the site.
